I'm an island boy stuck in my little island in the middle of what has to be one of the most superficial, fake, and confusing ocean of concrete, steel, and plastic. Fake trees, fake "mountains", fake cookie cutter people all around me.I'm lost and without a compass, no blinding guiding light, walking on a winding road. I'm never alone, but alone all the time. I understand, but never understood. My eyes are opened to the many wonders of the world, but glazed over by corruption that has poisoned the minds of the innocent souls.
My soul I share with the ocean, the giver of life, the transformer. I fear the enigma it holds in the abyss, so powerful, yet so fragile; But cherish its many splendor.
I will journey through this world, my companions coming and going, their essence blended with my own, their influence never forgotten but
I will never be what you think I will be or what I should be, but will be what I was meant to be.
