About Me

Giordanno Martins started in music when he was 9 studying during 1 year at Escola de Música de Brasília but only started playing keyboards with 16 years old influenced by his brother, Giovanni Martins. Having a late beginning, studied alone and accquired experience playing with underground bands in Brasília such as Antigma, MorseCode and Mythrill. He Played at some tribute bands, such as Symphony X cover when met the amazing guitarrist and friend Ian Lucena (MorseCode - Harllequin), Dream Theater cover with the great musicians Daniel Moscardini (drums - Coral de Espíritos/Mortaes) and Eduardo Stefano (bass - Coral de Espíritos/Mortaes) and Pain of Salvation cover until he was invited to play with Vougan guys. After some weeks playing with Hugo Santiago, Acácio Carvalho an Gzus, they invited Giordanno to be the new Vougan's keyboard player. With Vougan, Giordanno played at Tattoo Rock Fest (Goiânia - Brazil), Heavy in Metal Fest (Belo Horizonte - Brazil) and recorded 2 songs. Nowadays, Giordanno is playing with Vougan to promote the new CD called Mind Exceeding.
