"It's great to see an independent band
showing so much talent with just three songs,
while many signed acts don't do half as much with a full lenght."
Rock Hard
"No matter what genre I attempt to classify them in (...)
they seem to transcend all of them."
The Metal Observer
"Dynahead can count on something
the majority of nowadays metal bands haplessly lack:
a sound of their own."
HellNoise
"Unknown delivers a nice shotgun blast to the head
with accuracy, aggression and speed."
Sea of Tranquility
"I find unlikely I'll hear a demo CD
as good as this one until the end of 2005.
A band that's more than ready to get signed and break ground."

Through an internet ad, long term friends Diego Teixeira and Caio Duarte (also known for his work as producer) joined forces with the guitarist Victor H. Schmidlin, creating an unaligned project with the drummer Rodrigo Costa. In the autumn of 2004, Dynahead comes to life in the Brazilian capital, BrasÃlia.
With a proposal built over a furious diversity, the musicians began their interaction through covers of their biggest influences, soon followed by song writing. The growing complexity of the band’s music demanded another guitarist, who came to be the city newcomer and musician Diogo Mafra. The band’s line-up was then completed and its creativity, reinforced.
After entering the studio in a rush to record a sample of its own material, the band emerges with the promo CD “Unknown,†in which its influences and ideas are shown in a raw. Basing its music in modern Metal, the band embraces Progressive influences, with a solid experimental verve.
In 2005 Rodrigo was replaced by Rafael Dantas (formerly on Dark Avenger and Last Rites), contributing even more to the bands’ already eclectic musicality. A year later, Victor left Dynahead, allowing the band to keep some of the material they made together, being substituted by the experienced Pablo Vilela (Rattlesnake, former Under Siege and Dark Avenger).
So far, Dynahead had a pretty positive career: They entered the brazilian Anthrax tribute plus two other international compilations, were the rookier band to play at the Porão do Rock Festival, chosen among 800 other bands from all over the americas, received an impressive acclaim from media and public, and performed in several locations with well-known brazilian and international acts, such as Shaaman, Anathema, Ratos de Porão, Dr. Sin and many others.
The band is now finishing the recording of their first and awaited album, and is collecting support from labels and endorsers.
