my story..skinny guy gets bullied at school, becomes doctor, speaks to tony robbins, sells stuff online, gets booed off the comedy store

I was born and brought up in Guildford near London in the UK. I'm the youngest of four kids and my mum and dad were always into family life big time. Ever since I can remember I've loved talking to people and acting and have also always wanted to be a "businessman"- I remember asking this boy what his dad did when I was five years old and he said 'he's a businessman' and I got massive goosebumps

Yeah so started out at school with quite a few friends and big into acting (like school plays and stuff) and just playing a few sports with no real problems. I always wanted to (and still do) make people laugh and feel good and generally help people as much as possible. So life was good

When I got to about 14 though I read out a few poems in school assembly and was bullied for the next 2 years. That hurt. And I felt so bad about it that I didn't tell anyone in my family (which was a mistake). Anyway I muddled through it and tried to figure out what I was going to do and by the time I got to 17 I decided to become a doctor- I didn't really know what I wanted to do (still wanted to go into business or acting but couldn't see how) and thought it would give me something to fall back on. (that was good thinking except it takes 6 years-I don't regret becoming a doctor for a second though- I like helping people and it has been a great experience, and I've made some great friends)

For the first two years of medical school I was pretty selfish and didn't have many friends - I wanted everyone to like me but wasn't contributing anything. And I arrived at a point where I said "I'm not happy,it's my fault and it's because I'm not being a nice person" and I just decided to be nice. And from then on my life changed - I literally just decided to be nice - I started helping people for the sake of it and trying to make life better for people for the sake of it too. And my life got a lot better too, and just tried to improve myself step by step from then

And from the age of about 24 got into personal development, first through books and then attending seminars and stuff. I went to Tony Robbins Date with Destiny seminar (that's when I spoke to him- asked him a question), his Wealth Mastery seminar and UPW and just got really into personal development (and still am- right now reading 'The Sedona Method'). By the way personal development to me is just being yourself, just being happy as yourself

So when I finished med school I knew I wanted to get into business somehow so I did my placements and then started working part time as a doctor and looking into business opportunities. I saw Bob Proctor do a talk on multiple income streams and got into internet and network marketing. Right now I'm in Passport to Wealth and the GDI websites (and a few other things), and these are both superb programmes
