*This is just a tiny taste...there is so much more to know about me.
I had my ups & downs in this school, just like I'm sure every self-discovering adolescent had, from friends versus foes, A's versus B's, normal parenting tactics versus insane jail-type parental lockdown. I was born Jennifer Yuen Ying Lo in the beautiful city where I still reside, Vancouver, B.C. I attended Montessori as a tot for preschool & kindergarten, then proceeded to York House School, which consisted of an all girls society and an average grade of 30-40 often personality-clashing uniform-wearing clique-dependant over-the-top physically-&-mentally-competitive students.
However, I toughed it out for 12 years from Grade 1 to Grade 12 & graduated with a big smile on my face, a treacherous yet attainable career plan & most importantly, the few good apples out of a bunch of cats who are the most genuine fun ladies a girl could ever call best friends, without whom school would have been inconceivably unbearable.
My parents got divorced in the meantime, resulting in most of my life thereafter living with my dad, big brother & dear Benji. I recently decided that it was time to leave my testosterone-filled nest & so my dad agreed to relocate me to an apartment downtown beach-side (gorgeous).
I am a student full time at Simon Fraser University (up in the mountain during the day & downtown in evenings) where I am an ambitious student attempting to succeed in acquiring a Bachelor's in Engineering and a Master's in Business over a 10 year plan, yikes. I work part-time at a car dealership on weekends where I am spectator to enough work politics and boss butt-kissing to last me a lifetime, lol. Through all the nooks and crannies of my busy schedule, I remind myself that all work & no play is never a choice lifestyle so I never forget to find time to spend with family, friends, boyfriend and, of course, time to pamper myself ;)
