About Me

I'm a smart, outgoing, and relaxed person. I believe life should be about experiences, and I love trying new things and meeting new people. I'm not very materialistic, and prefer to keep my life reasonably simple. I'm not too concerned with finding ways to conform into society. I'd rather spend my time with a few great people than following the masses.

My Interests

Though I don't have talent for the arts, I really enjoy art, music, writing, and the stage. If I'm in the mood for being active, I like jogging, lifting, basketball, and tennis. I could spend all night at a pool table. I'm not that great of a dancer, unless I'm out drinking. Then, I become an amazing dancer, much stronger, and charming to all women ;)

I'd like to meet:

If the question was meant as to who I would like to meet as in a famous person it would be someone who was either on top of their game, someone really funny, or a really progressive thinker. I figure that best athletes, artists, musicians, and scholars probably have some really insightful things to share. Funny people are great because I love to laugh. And a really progressive thinker is someone who has the courage to run with her / his creativity. I respect that a lot.

Music:

Mainly into a few punk and hardcore bands right now. I go to a punk or hardcore show about every month or so. The rest of my CD collection includes jazz, heavy metal, hip hop / rap, grunge rock, and classic rock. Punk / Hardcore - anti-flag, dropkick murphys, strike anywhere, choking victim, bouncing souls, tsunami bomb, H2O, madball, e-town concrete; Jazz - miles davis, ahmad jamal, louis armstrong, moqita, groove funkshen; Metal - alice in chains, metallica, megadeth, tool, pantera, ozzy osbourne, iron maiden; Hip Hop / Rap - jurassic 5, jay-z, fat joe, cypress hill, beastie boys; Grunge - pearl jam, soundgarden, candlebox, temple of the dog; Classic Rock - the who, rolling stones, pink floyd, led zeppelin, jimmy hendrix, and tom petty.

Movies:

12 monkeys, fight club, cool hand luke, office space, tombstone, trainspotting, mallrats, the goonies, suicide kings, casablanca, wedding crashers, yojimbo, dark city, go, the rock, enter the dragon, wallace & gromit, a bronx tale, ghost dog, crouching tiger hidden dragon, the big lebowski, hitchcock films...i also enjoy watching artistic, foriegn, and cult classics that may be outside the mainstream.

Television:

I try to avoid watching TV whenever I can.
