About Me
A new trio, composed by the pianist, composer and arranger Guglielmo Guglielmi, by the contrabass player Aldo Vigorito and by the saxophone player Sandro Deidda.
The project, that puts together three veterans of the Italian New Orleans, Salerno, consists of an unusual trio of sax, piano and contrabass and introduces a repertory of original themes, with some homage to the music of the seventies’ movies.
The interplay amongst the musicians is deeply felt. The sound is elegant and expresses a synthesis of different genres and style.Line up:

Guglielmo Guglielmi, pianist, composer and arranger, has been the founder of the Campania jazz Quartet, historic formation that, during the 80ies, put together the best musicians of Caserta, Salerno and Nales, often collaborating with M.P. De Vito. With this project he has performed at the National Forlì Festival, winning the first price. He then collaborated with James Senese and Roberto De Simone, Tony Esposito, Alan Sorrenti, Karl Potter, the singer Joy Garrison and Tullio De Piscopo, with whom he presently play.Aldo Vigorito, was born in Salerno, has studied contrabass at the Roman Conservatory of Santa Cecilia. In Rome he experiments the first jazz collaborations, with Eddy Palermo, Marcello Rosa, Cicci Cantucci. Later with Romano Mussolini he becomes an important sideman together with Daniele Sepe, Pietro Condorelli D.Moroni, G. Basso, E. Pierannunzi, and amongst the international artists, Miles Griffith, Lew Tabackin, Jim Snidero, Lester Bowie, Eddie Daniels, Helen Merrill.
He has recorded many albums, of which two as leader:

Amongst his collaborations: Hilton Ruiz, Claudio Roditi, Carl Anderson,
