Influences: Even though we describe ourselves as 'out of this world', we are just some down to earth guys from the San Francisco Bay Area. We're a grass roots band working our way up from the bottom, learning and experimenting with several genres of music, and blending them together to find 'our sound'. We are personable: We all have jobs, relationship problems, and individual issues. There is no better 'high' or stress reliever than when we all get together and jam. Everybody has some thing they do to escape the continuous stress of everyday life. We incorporate in this stressful everyday life what comes naturally to us; music.
We don't just enjoy what we do, rather, we love what we do. We are aware that not everyone will enjoy our music. Critics put energy into evaluating art- in an attempt to compare it to other works of art. Artists put energy into creating and expressing themselves- in an attempt to identify and share it with other people. We would rather spend the rest of our lives being Artists.

Bands and Artists that influence us are: Prodigy, TCM (The Crystal Method), NIN (Nine Inch Nails), BT, Hybrid, Bjork, Linkin Park, Incubus, Rage Against the Machine, Guns & Roses, Led Zeppelin, the Gap Band, Newcleus, Rick James, Michael Jackson, Jurassic 5, Dilated Peoples, Outkast, DJ Qbert, DJ Revolution, Common, Cream, Green Day, Del-Deltron 0 (the Funky Homosapien), Gordy (Flex_um) and many others that could make this go on forever...

Sounds Like: WaveTheory: The Electronically HipHopified Funky Rockin' Breaks band. The sound is hard- but capable of a soft melody. Dirty, gritty, crunchy breaks- yet sometimes clean, soft, and smooth beats. Thumping kicks, hard snares on top of a usually groving synth bass that tends to have a funky twist- but can transcend into a morbid distorted low-pass filter that makes you feel like you have to jump kick someone in the face. Technical leads- carefully designed synthesis with catchy rhythms and melody that sticks. Jazz intervals and chords that range the whole musical spectrum and back again to give you heart felt strokes at the keyboard- striking emotion, and bring you back to a hard break-beat that'll make you want to tell someone to jump kick you in the face. Never staying in one genre too long- Hard rhymes and lyrical technique over hard breaks and a dirty, grungy HipHop pressence that should be illegal. Monsterous flows matched up with detailed scratching, cutting, sampling, and beat matching- proving that the DJ takes the forefront in a time of recognizing the backbone. Who needs an urban action figure?-when the members of the band can give any bboy crew a good battle as flips, power moves, combos, and freezes meet dance routines and pop-locking that'll make you want to give your date a serious elbow to the jaw... Dancing was never made so mandatory until Dub-T brothas come through to regulate floors and venues as they see fit. Capable to rock- and grind the gears in your head- WaveTheory is music- don't try to generalize the style- they don't sound too similar to anybody else.
