What it can be, here and now

About Me

Hi all, I'm Dave, ...I play jazz, specifically guitar, and have been working with some of the finest players around. I love writing, arranging, and performing in the local venues and private events. I have been fortunate to meet some of the finest men and women a person could hope to meet; personally, professionally, artistically, spiritually. I've worked in this community for almost 30 years as a tech, instructor, and product specialist for a major musical instrument manufacturer/distributor. Now I own my own business and have been blessed with a great crew and great customers. We are embarking on the fabrication of some new guitar designs with some exotic woods and construction ideas, as well as some nifty new products I hope to introduce at the 2008 NAMM Show; we shall see. ...I'll keep you posted. ~~~~~~~~ And yes, indeed, I am still really bummed I blew it with such a great lady...I think we both made mistakes, we have so much in common, and probably could have figured it out the issues...but I understand I'm a bit of a handful, spread really thin, and have a, well, curious passion...amongst a collection of many. I think I'm a pretty good guy and I am loyal to the bone. My heart went all the way but I guess my sense of reason didn't, things between us got confused, my lack of patience, compassion and understanding for her needs in this instance. We could have worked in out, we were great together, in so many ways. Perhaps we were both just foolish; a terribly tragic loss for us both -it seems always in retrospect, how much better we are together, how much stronger and happier, than apart, At least that is the hope in any relationship. ~~~~~~. Hope you are enjoying the new tune In Wonderland. It's really dedicated to and for you...who else would be in wonderland? I am planning to continue some writing in that direction; I do love the sound and feel of it myself. ~~~ On the trample thing, it's relaxing and I totally enjoy it; the weight, the pressure.... If you want to ask me about it, I will be happy to fill you in. Yes, I had a great time working with HBO, and I do hope they call again. The pay was nice and the crew excellent to work with. I have done a bit of research on the subject; Dr. William Rossi has a rather interesting book that delves into it, and have found some history on this area of human behavior. Apparently, there are tens of thousands of enthusiasts out there just as interested and curious as I, and have been since recorded history. ~~~~~Moving on~~~~~Due to events in our world, and the mishandling of our country by the current representation, I have interests in running for public office, primarily because there are troubles in our government that are very damaging to our future and security, that are NOT being addressed. I think I can be helpful. My intent is to bring tough issues to the table in hope that our current elected officials will at least try to straighten out this mess. Yes, I believe 9/11 was an inside job. Had our own government not swept away the forensic evidence so quickly, the proof would have been all to apparent. We might want to ask Mr. Guiliani about that. Would he take a lie detector test? I may be changing the format of this site as current events in the world around me, politically, seems to be spiraling out of control. Being the patriot that I am, I think I am going to get involved and see if my thoughts and ideas about a more constructive, versus a destructive, approach might be better for America than is currently in the works. To be quite honest, I think George and his team are seriously blowing it, and they seem to have a nice plan for an , as G.H.W. Bush put it, "New World Order"..at a cost of...um how many dead??? Oops. Not a good way to make friends. There have been a few recent publications I have found of interest and are currently reading: U.S. v. Bush by Elizabeth de la Vega, The 911 Commission Report, Against All Enemies by Richard Clark, and this new one by Ambassador Joseph C. Wilson, and John Conyer, " George W. Bush versus the U.S. Constitution, Downing Street memos and Deception, Manipulation, Torture, Retribution, and Cover ups in the Iraq War and Illegal Domestic Spying". Watch the videos 911 Press For Truth, Loose Change, Unconstitutional, 911 in Plane Site. This all looks like pretty heady stuff, but I feel needs a look at and sscutinised for truth and errors. We need truth. Some of you may want to check out this subject, the NAFTA Super Highway, as I think it would pose a real threat to our National Security and destroy our Ports economically as most of the freight would be rerouted through Mexico, bypassing out harbors, Longshoreman/ trucking industry as well as a massive land grab by corporate interests. I think we are being screwed, and not in the good way: See www.nascocorridor.com or http://www.thenewamerican.com/artman/publish/article_4088.sh tml Beyond that...let's see, One attracts more bees with honey than with vinegar, a policy motto I prefer. Make friends and music , not war. Peace will never be achieved if one is forced to stare down the muzzle of a gun. Our government believes we can't handle the truth. They grossly underestimate Americans. Cheers, Dave ~~~~~ Oh, my new Congressional page !!! www.DaveLynchForCongress.org ~~~ check it out, send me your thoughts and I'll try to respond to as many as I can; pros-cons-ideas, whatever. but if you engage in rage and wank, then I can't and won't discuss anything with you. Long life, good health and prosperity, my friends.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~P.S. ~~~Dear Sting, I would really love to play in your band alongside Dominick or Lyle or both, along with the rest of your fabulous musicians..I saw it in a dream once, it was a blast of a story~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~!
