About Me

Doctor Walken owes a lot to a number of different projects and musical tastes that have accumulated over the years. The idea for project "doctor walken" was for singer/songwriter Carlos Gonzalez to record and release a semi-professional demo/album. From September 2005 to February 2006 "Ghost Town" was in the works. During the recording process high school friend Tony DelReal of "Lacerated" agreed to join the group and play Bass Guitar. Soon after Carlos' next door neighbor and friend Fabian Alonso agreed to be in the band and play while adding some leads (Fabian had been in the punk rock n' roll band "Romeo Creep" and were together for about 4 years; after a pretty good run they eventually parted ways). Eventually Doctor Walken got a drummer but tied down with a busy schedule was unable to continue with the band. After a few months of practicing the "Ghost Town" demo (February 2006 release) Doctor Walken acquired another drummer: Jaime Serrano who was also in Romeo Creep with Fabian. After a pretty good run of a year for Doctor Walken Tony regretably moved and practice was made harder to attend. So after what seemed like a long search Doctor Walken once again acquired a new bandmate Luis Mayorga who is also in the band The Pissants. To date everyone is happy and playing harder than ever to bring Doctor Walken to stage! ... not in a musical type of way.(www.purevolume.com/doctorwalken)
