He says, and I Quote, "I was and still am forever dedicated and married to the music, so Blame Me, I have no apologies."There were many local musical groups in Charleston, SC, that he respected and they influenced his talents as a musician, songwriter, and singer over the years. He often reminisces about Lonnie Hamilton III and the Diplomats. Special thanks to Lonnie Hamilton, who taught him to understand music and play the trumpet during his high school years. The port City All Stars Band, Carleen and the Groovers: Who later became St. Claire and the Groover, The Abe White Affair, Morris Lee, the late Johnny King and the Electrict Icebox band and Al Gathers childhood musician friend, now deceased all contributed a very important part in shaping the direction in Henry's musicianship and music writting ability. He was blessed to have an opportunity to perform musically along side some of the best musicians and witnessed live many jamming sessions at the now defunct Club Jamaica in North Charleston, SC, Liberty Park....Also, a very special thanks to his forever friend who awarded his first recording contract, The late Mr. Bennie Hudgins, CEO/WATERSIDE RECORDS in Chesapeake, VA, to whom he dedicates this project to....The Dream is not yet completed...Special Thanks to his best friend David Leornard Brooks who played and still do, the keyboard who now lives in Maryland...Thanks to my niece, Mavis Poole on vocals remix of "Sweet Lovin" and Susan Wright who responded to the call when Henry needed another professional female vocalist to express great story telling on the latest body of work...Last but not least Thanks to a great friend of HENRY MURRAY MUSIC that mixed and mastered the project," Between Us", and " Feel the Breezescape" Chabon Littlefield...
