I graduated from BOLING HIGH SCHOOL in 1990 and have been playing professionally ever since. I am thrilled to find some of my classmates here! (I think there were less than 55 of us!) I went to WCJC as a music major then transferred to Southwest Texas State U as a piano performance major.
During college I decided to go on the road w/a local band I was playing with and did that for 2 years throughout the Western states including Canada. It was a HARD lesson! Came back to TEXAS and joined DERRINGER which was an awesome 10 year experience for me, ups and downs but we were HOT and our fans loved us. We put out a CD called "Here In The Dark".
Now I am playing w/some of my old bandmates in an 80's rock TRIBUTE BAND called GRAND MULLETT and we do a COUNTRY/ROCK FROM THE 80'S band at MO'S PLACE in Katy, TX.
Durring the week, I teach private lessons for children and adults---piano, guitar, and the bass at the House of Guitars on Hwy.6 and West Road and in CINCO RANCH at MUSIC AND ARTS in LA CENTERRA. I believe every child should be exposed to music and if so inclined, encouraged to pursue it. You are NEVER too old to start
In my 18 years as a professional musician this is the happiest time of my life! Doing what I really want to do and see a fun future in this. The Buffalo Theory
well ya see it's like this. A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. And when the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members. In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Excessive intake of alcohol, as we know, kills brain cells. But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of alcohol eliminate s the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine! That's why you always feel smarter after a few beers
