Ashley was born in St. Louis, MO and raised in Houston, Tx. At age 8 Ashley persuaded her parents to buy her first acoustic guitar and immediately began taking lessons and writing music. At age 15 Ashley started taking vocal lessons with world renowned vocal coach, Debbie Beinhorn, known to have worked with Clint Black, Pam Tillis, American Idol's Kimberly Caldwell and many others. Debbie started training with her and helped to gather Ashley's best songs that she had written so that they could record her demo. In 2002 Ashley began recording her demo with Debbie and Scott Mochon of Millennium Music in Houston. Ashley began playing gigs at local bars and restaurants around Houston as well as a featured artist at the Legacy Showroom in High Point, North Carolina during the furniture markets that are held twice a year. Quickly following the finished product, grammy-nominated Producer John Ravenhall of Johnny Boy Records in the UK listened to her demo and requested to meet with Ashley. Soon after, Ashley went overseas to write music with Henrick Nielsen, Leona Daly and John Gordon. In September 2007 Ashley signed her record deal with Johnny Boy Records and quickly began writing and recording her first Album. The album includes two of Ashley's originals as well as ten other songs which were co-written by Ashley and friend and Co-Writer, John Gordon. The album was recorded in Arhus, Denmark and was mastered in Pressure Point Studio's in Chicago by world renowned engineer, Larry Sturm who has worked with Justin Timberlake, Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Timbaland and many others. Ashley's first single "Oh No What" is set to release in January 2010 in the UK. Ashley continues to perform locally as she prepares to play around England for the promotion of her new album.
