I´m Roman Kumutat. I started collecting records from
everywhere
in 1987. Since 1994 I am playing what I find,
mostly Funk, Soul,
Jazz, Reggae, African and Latin music. I research
rare music and
create reissueing concepts:

going to be surprisingly fonky, including
rare unknown east german music.

I have a little Funk Band together with drummer
Florian Voßberg
and guitarist Julian Romeike. Occasionally we are
working with
the Superbad Horns. We´re preparing our
stuff for quite a while
now :o) If you feel like pushing us in any way, go
ahead.
We´re still looking for a keyboarder
& vocalists (in the style of Lyn
Collins - Betty Davis or Lee Fields - Geraldo
Pino. Everything else
that suits for harder, busy Funk music is also
fine.)
The last song in the player is just a jam, but it
shows a bit of what
we are doing. We have a couple of Songs
and we are capable to play
any cover that moves us.
