UPDATE: I'm baaaackkkk...in the South for a bit. I'm trying to work on some feature films. I'm currently living in Baton Rouge taking it day by day!Hi, my name is Melissa Roberts. I'm originally from right outside of New Orleans, but moved to Los Angeles to work in television. Was there for about 5.5 years working steadily...But had to take a little 7 month break from the biz and move to Vail, CO for a bit to just ride! This business will steer you straight into the ground if you don't take breaks often! I love my life!I'm a little crazy, but not in that psycho kind of way. I like to have a REAL good time with everything I do. No half-assing here!! I enjoy the simple things in life, am very passionate, and certainly enjoy a little day drinkin' on a Sunday (or any day where nothing's going on)! Big fan of any and all live music. I'd LOVE to be in a band on stage, but I wasn't blessed with the gift to play or sing, although I certainly think I can! I'm super excited about football season! I LOVE LOVE LOVE SEC football! I'm all about having a good time wherever I am and I'm down to try anything new (almost). I like to be clean but hate taking showers...i know i know...it's about the journey...not the final destination. i'm working on it! I like aggressive people. So be aggressive already! I'm also VERY impatient! I'm working on that as well....breathe in breathe out!

Good live music, digging my toes in the sand, hanging with my girls, hiking in Runyon Canyon, being a regular at a bar, laughing hysterically, top 10 lists, A good glass of red wine, people watching, sleeping on a rainy day, a really good meal, massages, cooking, snowboarding, running, getting to know new people, learning new things, stretching, peas, back scratches, hugs, kisses, sometimes cooking.

Jeez!! Where to begin?? The mellow in me loves Dave Matthews Band, John Mayer, Ben Folds 5, Jack Johnson, Ben Harper, Coldplay, G Love, Groove Armada, Miles Davis. I'm also a big fan of jam bands. With the likes of Galactic, Govt. Mule, Umphrey's McGee, Ozomatli, John Butler Trio, The String Cheese Incident, Jazz Mandolin Project, Primus, Robert Randolph, Medeski Martin & Wood, moe., Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Lil Rascals. Nothing beats Rebirth Brass Band!!!!! Yeah, I need to read a little more...Books on tape are AWESOME.... But I did read A Million Little Pieces....best book EVERRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!! Screw the controversy!!!! Am currently still slowly reading Eat Pray Love....
