I am here for Dating, Serious Relationships, Friends and Networking

About Me

Right now I'm somewhere between wanting a one-night stand and a committed relationship. I request and sometimes require what is important to me, and I give what I get on the positive side, and learning how much to give back of the negative. As an analytical person, I hate being blindsided. As a loving person, I hate being metaphorically blind.Hypocrisy due to cowardice, cockiness, or envy is fast becoming the worst trait I find in pseudo "cool" people.I love thinking outside of the box, seeing beneath the surface whether the surface is a well built man or breaking away from the "that's the way it's been" path. I love making eye contact and seeing the other person "sparkle." I love PDAs but sometimes get shy.Coolest moments recently: enjoying the long weekend with friends who feel like family, getting to know bandmembers outside of the club, anticipating seeing Rick Springfield this Friday!
Rick Springfield - What's Victoria's Secret?

Not the best way to show what's Rick up to now but better than nothing til 7-29 - the release of Venus in Overdrive!

My Interests

being inspired, sharing/learning, appreciating the ability to give myself to the love and music experiences...oh and sushi too :)

I'd like to meet:

someone who loves animals, music, and communication. Say what you mean and mean what you say even if you don't think I'll like it. I dislike broken trust even more.

Music:

Rick Springfield is at the top of my list since 1981. Other tastes include country like Collin Raye and Christi Bauerlee; classic rock like Journey, Styx, .38 Special and Bad Company; old pop like Van Morrison; combo bands like Shaw-Blades, and last but not least local bands like Roby Duron, Action Down, Red Rhythm, and House Arrest.

Movies:

anything but horror

Television:

all the CSIs, Grey's Anatomy, some reality shows like Dancing with the Stars and American Idol..and of course anything with Rick S in it!

Books:

i enjoy books given as gifts by friends not only because their choice expands my horizons but also i get warm fuzzies thinking about my friends as i read.

Heroes:

Anyone who makes this world a better place, or overcomes their personal obstacles.
