"A human being is a part of the whole, called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest - a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature and its beauty".~Albert Einstein. You are a part of everything:"If the doors of perception were cleansed every thing would appear as it really is, infinite"- William Blake. Our sense of reality is defined by the doors of our perception, and what we focus on becomes our experience. There is no real evil except ignorance itself- an amnesia, a desensitization of our true nature- unity with all of life.
I'd like to meet:
Open-minded people. I feel there is beauty in every-One; every person, no matter who they are, has something to teach and to offer like a part of one giant jigsaw. How we view things is all down to our own "doors of perception". "in every colour there's the light, in every stone sleeps a crystal". By noticing one's beauty we can emphasize it and uplift them, and vice-versa. We only have limited perspectives due to our own finite viewpoints. Before criticizing another person you should walk a mile in their shoes- that way, when you criticize them you're a mile away and you have their shoes, hee-hee!
