ONE LOVE:)
I have played various instruments most of my life and am especially interested in the Didjeridoo and percussion. I was in marching band and jazz band in high school and was also involved in chorus. I grew up with an insatiable appetite for beautiful music and those that help create it... I'm an extremely free spirit and tend to stear my own path in life. My interests are about as varied as the weather in Oregon.:) I'm tall-6ft3, 185lbs, long hair, have quite a few tattoos and I love music. I'm very down to Earth and fun loving. I don't take myself to seriously and always try to find the positive in any situation. Im an extremely open minded person and constantly try to respect and enjoy the diversity of others. I enjoy all that Oregon has to offer and for the last few years I have been organizing these overnight drum circles/parties once a month. "DANCE WITH THE DRUMS"... They are a lot of fun and we have a great time. You don't have to be a musician or have a drum to attend. There is an intimate relationship between your soul & nature while hearing the primal beat from dozens of drums as you dance around the fire... These gatherings take place deep in Mt. Hood National Forest and pets and children are welcome. Most people camp out in tents, cars, or under the stars. Rain does not usually stop us from gathering as we just build our very own tarp village. We usually stay up till dawn playing drums and other various instruments around the fire and often drinking a little too much. Oh well, you only live once... The next gathering is most likely going to occur in March and will happen monthly through November. Just contact me if you need more info. I sincerely hope to see you there...
I also love traveling with friends to Festivals and just recently got back from Earth Dance in Northern California. If you do not know what this is, you should check it out. Its one of the most amazing gatherings of music, peace, and partying I've ever seen.
I'm not concerned with the status-quo or much of the other materialistic crap that our society so openly embraces. I have a deep respect and appreciation for nature and all of Mother Earths creatures. I have found that there is no better way to find comfort and peace than to just simply spend time in the forest. I believe that it is important to get over yourself and look at the bigger picture. Follow your dreams, always be yourself, and whatever happens was meant to be...
Then there is the wild child in me!!! I love to play and have fun! One night you will find me playing the Native American flute at a drum circle and the next I will be in the middle of a SLAYER mosh pit. Although I love countless styles of music, Metal kicks ass! Nothing is quite like letting it all go and just slamming to the music... My favorite things are FUN, people who are genuine, tattoos, music, unity, friendship, family, festivals, the river in the summer, art, mosh pits, hugs, adventure, road trips, traveling, fishing, Mexico, freedom, concerts, dank beer, cooking, Sailor Jerries, trees, my cat, nature, laughter, the ocean, skulls, smiles, bon fires, roller derby girls, Devils Point, tough chicks, Irish accents, phat joints, jumping jack's, crass humor, trips to Mexico, diversity, dijeridoos, randomness, adventure, rain, sunshine, hot springs, summertime, golfing with friends, independence, high fives, Hwy 101, Mirror pond, sushi, boating, sleeping, comedy, wrestling with ninjas, hiking, sexy fairies, goofing off, causing harmless trouble, kissing, skipping, cuddling, down comforters, love, traveling, receiving karate, puddle jumping, bar hopping, playing pool, running from the cops, mountains, sunsets, dirty jokes, more tattoos, the simple things in life, liberating garden gnomes, and pretty much anything else thats interesting... Oh ya, long walks on the beach are super sweet as well.:)
Anyway, I just like to have a good time and try to steer my own path in this crazy journey we call life. Perhaps some day we will make music together. May your journey be safe and lead you to where your heart truly desires. Peace and blessings!!!!
