Andrew Blake Ames began his professional career at the age of sixteen performing in an Off-Broadway show, in the heart of NYC. At eighteen, he was awarded the title “California Art Scholar†by Governor Gray Davis. Then at twenty-one, he won the WB20 Casting Call contest with his best friend (Megan Nicole Gallup). Molded by the creative talents of Lynn Brilhante, Debra Boyd, Mia Michaels, Tom Blank, Janel Tomblin, and Yoko Young, Andrew works in the Screen, Stage, and Fashion industries. A member of the Screen Actors Guild, he has worked with actors such as Alec Baldwin, Jessica Biel, Adam Sandler, Sean Penn, Sean William Scott, musical groups such as All-American Rejects, Rachel Stacey, Sham Payne, and the casts of Will & Grace, Invasion, Commander in Chief, and What about Brian. Andrew “Rijiy†is a sought out dancer and model working with Paul Mitchell, Reebok, Mervyn’s, Sony, Universal, ABC, NBC, MTV, and choreographers such as Wade Robson, Mia Michaels, Lynn Brilhante, Jean Ann Ryan Productions and Yoko Young. He has portrayed characters such as: Emcee (Cabaret), Bobby and Mike (A Chorus Line), Hero (A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum), and Zangler (Crazy for You).
