Founded in 2000 by Cain and producer / songwriter Philip Faith, RISE OF THE FALLEN is a gathering, a celebration to the light still to be restored. RISE OF THE FALLEN proposes powerful Orchestral sound scapes evolving around post-modern electro rhythms, ancestral tribal rites and hell driven guitars slashing their way through primordial chaos.Industrial injected apocalyptic metal...with dark cavernous vocals.Emerging from the catacombs of the British post-punk era, growing up with great innovators such as cabaret voltaire, einsturzende neubauten P.Faith wanted to create a project that had the intensity of the pre-computerized music blended with modern electro textures without falling in any cliches..Anchored with a heavy guitar sound.The lyrics are predominant and the songs are built around classical structure .
Live, RISE OF THE FALLEN are very theatrical and the musicians include a string section, flamenco guitar as well as female tortured vocals...Every show is a festival for the senses
In 2002, RISE OF THE FALLEN released the Citizen Cain DVD as well as the E.P including reconstructed remixes of this single.. It instantly attracted attention worldwide, from Wire columnist Byron Coley to Sonic youth’s frontman thurston moore without omitting Legendary pink dots Frontman Edward Kaspel.RISE OF THE FALLEN has built a strong fanbase and following worldwide.Their latest release , Bloodline (with a video for indiscipline) is a prelude to the full lenght album Nest of ten which will feature very special collaborations with Legendary pink dots frontman Edward Ka-spel who sings on a very unique remake of the song Hellsville, Decoded feedback remixing Crusade, Italy’s Adam remixing En Soph ,Belgium Infrabu5e, Third realm, France’s Christophe Ferrer as well as Oneiroid psychosys...RISE OF THE FALLEN just finished shooting a conceptual video for Nest of ten. RISE OF THE FALLEN have just finished a remix for Italian Band HELALYN FLOWERS debut album “Plaestic” releases on Alfa-matrix.
