Gabriel Lambirth
My name is Gabriel Lambirth. I’m 13 yrs old in the 8th grade. My influences are musicians such as Hubert Sumlin, Wes Montgomery, B B King, Albert King, Buddy Guy, Gatemouth Brown, Robert Johnson, Eric Clapton, Peter Tosh, Hounddog Talyor,T-Bone Walker, Jimi Hendrix,Keb MO, Stanley Jordan, Luther and Bernard Allison, Prince, Morris day and the time, Eddie hazel, Marvin Gaye, Curtis Mayfield, Erykah Badu, and funkadelic, .
I’ve got my first guitar 2 years ago. That would be July 5, 2003. My parent bought me an instructional DVD as part of the purchase. I soon mastered that DVD. While playing a guitar at a local guitar shop members of the Black Diamond Blues Band invited me out to one their outdoor gig. The rest is history…in the making.
I opened for Bobby Rush at the Hayward Russel City Blues Festival during the summer of 2005. I opened with "Smoke Stack lighning".
I'm currently playing around the bay with Jimmy McCracklin".
