One of my first music memories is when my father played a Mahalia Jackson track. I still remember the moment but can't remember the song. I have a phone call to make...
I used to buy my vinylrecords at Indiana Records and Wolfi's Recordshop at Gamla Brogatan, Stockholm, Sweden in the late 70's. Indiana transformed to Vinylmania in the early 80's which have been my number one recordstore ever. Wow - those were the days... (My alter ego Vinylmania-c is a tribute to the store.)
In 1988 and 1989 I tried to show my skills as a DJ by anticipate at the Swedish DJ-mixing Championchips, first time was ok but second was awful. I was Bad!
My first Dj-gigs were at friends birthday parties in mid 80's where the payment was a couple of chocolate bars and my first "real" job was in Ludvika, Dalarna, Sweden back in 1989.
Since then I've done House clubs, Raves, Discos, bars, schlager bars and all between.
Today I don't play often, sometimes here and sometimes there. Instead I concentrate on streaming at Discogs radio which is really stimulating.
Here you can hear a clip or two which I'm gonna upload in time. To hear the full versions you must listen to my shows at Discogs radio - live. I'll try to announce upcoming shows in the concert section.
I (almost) never upload my sets.
If you want to see how it looks like in Stockholm right now click this link including 3 live cams: Stockholm web camsThe "Top Friends" is a guideline to what kind of music I dig.
