About Me

Bob Petrocelli is a NYC based multi-instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter. Currently, Bob is working as guitarist for blues singer Robert Charels recording on the TooCool/Fountainbleu label. The latest Robert Charels release "Three Leg Dogs and Old Skool Cats", produced by Michael Hill, has been out since early May 2007 and is receiving considerable airplay on blues and roots radio outlets nationwide. Bob's writing contribution to the CD, the song "Hey Shellena" was the first to receive airplay and was heard on the nationally syndicated "Blues Deluxe" radio hour with a market of 102 stations nationally and internationally. The Robert Charels Band is currently playing shows in the NYC area. Bob also performs as a freelance guitarist, bassist, and occasional keyboard player (particularly Hammond style organ) with various blues, r&b, rock, doo wop and jazz groups as his schedule permits. Currently, in addition to his work with the Robert Charels Band, Bob is preparing material for a solo project expected to be out sometime in mid 2008. Bob will also be playing guitar with jazz saxophonist Richard Brinka's group Collector on their next CD, due late 2008. In addition to all the above, when not working on other projects, Bob is involved in the production of Jazz and Electronica for commercial and media applications.
