I love photography, which pretty much sums it all up for me. Always have. It is one of my many ways of expressing art. Life is my muse, corny sounding but true, and I know this not only for myself, but for many, many other talented and creative photographers that I know personally, and know of. I see something and know, "that's it", catch it on film, and now pixels, and it feels great.
I am a NIKON girl ;). I love natural light, natural moods, natural reactions, people being themselves. I love action shots. I love nature. I love children, families, making memories for future generations. I like to take pictures of the ordinary, and not so ordinary...mostly the not so ordinary.
I LOVE shooting stage performances! That's actually kinda how I started out, or rather got me more serious into photography. My husband is a musician, and one day he surprised me with my very first NIKON, my NIKON N60, a few years ago, and I started taking pictures of him and the band he was in. The stage lighting, the emotion from the energy on stage from all the musicians, I fell in LOVE. At the time I was shooting film, if I had less than four rolls of film on me and any given time, I felt naked. That's one of the beauties of digital photography, no film necessary, yay :).
So yes, like soooo many others, I LOVE photography. It isn't just pointing and shooting a camera, it's knowing what you see thru the lens, is a moment. Unique, different, ever changing...life....I'm so in love with life, guess that's why I love photography the way I do~
