About Me

Big Doh was born in the mile high city and moved to San Diego in his mid teens. With no friends in San Diego Big Doh had his only love that is hip hop. In Big Doh’s household music was his savior from the world’s realities of poverty and drugs. Big Doh credits his family for his music influences of funk such as Moris day and the time, The Gap band, and Rick James. Growing up he idolized Big Daddy Kane, Kool G Rap, Run DMC and LL Cool J. At a 11 years old Big Doh wrote his First rap and performed it for his friends who enjoyed his hidden talent. In San Diego Big Doh met his soon to be long time friend Cydyndr (Sidewinder) who seen his rap abilities and encouraged him to make music his passion. With that in mind Big Doh took Cydyndr’s advice and would frequent karoake bars and spit original rhymes over instrumentals. Big Doh was pleased with the ability to get a crowd hyped. In 2005 Big Doh introduced Cydyndr to Acromic of Mag Flux productions. After several demos Rollin was created for the summertime anthem. Big Doh created his own label Westbay Muzik. Since then Big Doh and the help of the Mag Flux Camp Has created his debut album Life’s Muzik which carries a variety blend of hip hop. Big Doh has been featured on Off Brand’s Soul Intent album , Full Metal Jacket mixtape by Mag Flux , And the supergroup Pac 10 album Franchise Players featuring Parker and the Numberman and the mighty Mag Flux . Support Big Doh & The Mag Flux movement and you will find quality indie hip hop at its best!
