In Hip-Hop Culture, there are four major elements. The DJs and Turntablists have the wheels of steel and their plates as their instruments. Taggers and Writers have their weapons of choice to create their brushstrokes. B-Boys & B-girls use their bodies to express themselves. Emcees, for their instrument, they have their VOICE.If an emcee is the mouthpiece for Hip-Hop, he or she should emit lyrics that reflect the richness and depth of the culture. A true lyricist should be able to evoke emotions out of people. Without that emotional connection, whether it be melancholy or merry, there is nothing to be passionate about. With HIP-HOP culture arguably being the greatest cultural export America has, we need to let the world know that HIP-HOP is more than what you see on the surface... we must dig deeper...underground
