Reborn in Fire formed in 2004 to make music true to themselves by using the fundamentals of metal to shape their sound with massive guitars, pounding drums, and thick bass. They have continued the progression of modern metal and forged their own brand of new American metal.
They have deeply rooted their ethos in solid song writing skills, powerful live performances, and artistic guile without niches or cheap gimmicks. Despite current trends in music, to seemingly produce, bottle, and sell music; instead they choose to focus on what makes music rock.
Reborn in Fire's first studio experience resulted in a five track EP, Media Puppet Massacre, recorded at Next Level Recording Studios (Feb-Mar '04). Then the album was manufactured through Disc Makers, a company known for producing high quality products. The album sold nearly 1,000 copies with only the bands live performances as promotion. Reborn in Fire is receiving airtime on Tulsa's own Z104.5 FM The Edge, KSRC 91.3 FM, and 97.5 FM KMOD along with numerous satellite and internet radio stations including XM-48 Squizz.
Two years later the band would return to the studio with Stephen Egerton of The Descendants as producer/engineer to record, mix, and master a three song demo called The Gift. This product has become the foundation for the band to gain notoriety in the music industry. The new music has also helped their growing popularity among the Myspace phenomenon.
Reborn in Fire continues to promote and perform regularly with new music and inspiring ideas continuingly flowing within the band. They eagerly wait to return to the studio to record their first full length album.
