IN THE BEGINNING:
Flow Of Wisdom was founded in 2001 by popular radio personality Sean Anthony. Guided by the principle of practical inner-wisdom, Flow Of Wisdom has grown to become a credible and highly sought-after vehicle for positive change in people from all avenues of life. After many years of preparation, Sean Anthony has emerged anew, annointed, and more effective than ever. He tells us how and why he was lead to motivational speaking:
"One night on my radio show, a school teacher called in on the request line. She wanted someone from the station to speak to her students. I wrapped my mind around the idea for a brief moment and decided not to pass up the opportunity, especially since I had a passion for helping young people. I told her that I would love to come and speak to her students.
About one week later, I stepped into a classroom and was greeted by a group of junior high students who were eager to meet me. Their excitement took me completely by surprise. These students would tune in every night to listen to my radio show. They already knew they could identify with me and I could identify with them.
I was not prepared for what I would speak about. Going on my "gut feeling," I shared the story of how I started in radio at such an early age. I stressed that I wasn‘t much older than they were. After using that to peak their interest, I told them about the sacrifices and dedication I had to make at that time to reach my goals to work in radio. The sacrifices that I made were some of the same things those kids were still holding on to.
The interaction went so well that their teacher began to tell other teachers in the school district about my successful encounter with her class. The demand for my motivational speaking began to grow rapidly in a very short amount of time.
Naturally, I began to get heavily involved in the community, hosting numerous charitable events. Soon, I was invited to sit on many Boards for non-profit organizations. It has only been within the past several years that I’ve decided to pursue motivational speaking as a profession. As I have grown, my speaking has grown, as well as my professionalism.
Now, I speak all over the country, covering many different topics and needs for schools, businesses, churches, community organizations, and other institutions. To whomever, whenever-whatever God puts on my heart, I will speak."
