Billboard Magazine has voted my song "When He Comes Home To Her" the Number One Country song for 2006.Co-written with Lisa Firestone and Charles Harn the song tells the story of a soldier in the Middle east longing to return home to the woman he loves.I was born and raised in Rhode Island. My mother and father were both great lovers of country music. I remember going to local amusement parks on weekends to listen to the country music bands.These bands would play cover songs that were on the radio stations.I had many influences growing up listening to the radio. The everly Brothers Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison, Johnny Tillotson, Conway Twitty,Brenda Lee, and Patsy Cline were all favorites of mine.When the british invasion took over the music charts in the sixtys I started listening to the Beatles,Rolling Stones, The Kinks,and other groups.I always had a love for the piano but after hearing the classic country instrumental "The Last Date" by Floyd Cramer I decided it was the piano I wanted to learn. I did just that and today that's how I write my songs.I go to Nashville every chance I get to record demo's and then pitch them to Labels looking for songs.A song I co-wrote with Lisa Firestone and Charles Harn called "When He Comes Home To Her was voted the 1 country song at Billboard Magazine's 2006 World Song Contest.Several other of my songs have received awards at various song contests through out the United States and Europe. four of these songs are on this artist page. My songs have been played on the radio in Belgium, Norway, the Netherlands, and United Kingdom. In addition my songs have been heard on Radio Indy Network and on web site of VH-1 song of the year contest.
