About Me

This is a local show and event listing for most of the smaller DIY and local venues in Jacksonville, FL. In addition I post shows around Florida that I have booked or am a part of.I do my best to get all the shows and events up in a timely manner but sometimes I fall behind, things just get busy. You know how it goes.I post bulletins about events coming up, so if you have a flyer or a well written bulletin about what you have coming up I will happily repost it for you. Don't send me something a month before your event and ask me to post it every day, I don't have time for that. But, the week of your event send me what you would like to repost and I will repost as much as I can. Or if you have something you would like me to put on the calendar, send it with all of the information I need to make a calendar post and I will happily do it for you.I also book shows, you can see a partial list of some bands I’ve worked with over the past several years of booking shows. I can’t book everything that comes through, it’s just not possible, but I do my best at least answer every touring band and point them in the right direction if I can’t help. I book shows in other cities outside of Jacksonville, if you're interested in learning about that check out 1984 Presents! in my top friends.I hope my site helps and encourages you to go out and support your local music, arts, and events scene. Without you none of this would be possible, it’s yours so nurture it, support it, watch it grow. Neglect it, and it will die out.I try not to discriminate against anyone, genre, venue, etc but sometimes personal politics come into play. I’m always up for constructive criticism, just don’t be upset when you don’t get the answer you want. I do this as a free service to try and help the local ‘scene’ (whichever one you may be in), so ultimately it comes down to, I do this how I see fit.Hope to hear from you and see you out at a show!
