About Me

I'm an awkward motherfucker.
There's more to life than social status and MTV, getting fucked up and doing things that only benefit yourself and not others. You fucking trivialize life and death, and it just blows my mind. Laziness kills and so do smoking, drinking, drugs, and the food you eat. But why should you care? As long as it feels good, then it can't be wrong...and making logical decisions takes too much brain activity. All that matters is what's cheap, what's fast, and what can make it so you don't have to deal with your own problems. When you're in the real world you can't mooch off of mommy and daddy forever, and no one is going to give a shit how much of a bad ass you were when you were seventeen, and most people don't care now. The world's going to shit, and what are you? You're a part of the problem and not the solution. Everyone's got cancer, no one recycles, corporations are taking over and destroying the world, and local music's in the shitter now. But you don't care, do you? Not so long as you've got your cigarettes, carbonated sugar water, Wal-Mart, and your radio and MTV. When you die, who's gonna remember your name? Make a difference in the world, create, start your own personal revolution. Be the solution to all the shit that's going down. We all make mistakes, but don't BE a mistake. Recycle, buy local produce and organics, support your local scene, help people. Do something for others, even if others do nothing for you.

My Interests

Straight Edge.
Vegetarian.
People Watching.
Long walks alone with no destination.
Fuck Racism and Homophobia.

I'd like to meet:

True Individuals, Musicians, Mavericks, Artists, Activists, Writers, Poets, Dreamers, Cynics, Loners, Lovers, Philosophers, Photographers, Freaks, Free-Thinkers, Rebels, and Revolutionaries.

Nothing in this world that's worth having comes easy.

Music:

Intensity and Soul are most important when it comes to music.

"Music is an indirect force for change, because it provides an anchor against human tragedy. In this sense, it works towards a reconciled world. It can also be the direct experience of change. at certain points during some shows the reconciled world is already here, at least in that second, in that place. Operation Ivy was very lucky to have experienced this. Those seconds reveal that the momentum that drives a subculture is more important than any particular band. The momentum is made of all the people who stay interested and keep their sense of urgency and hope."
