Back on the Streets!

About Me

We play punk rock n fuckin roll. If you can dig that shit then come join us...if ya can't then either put away your girl jeans and eyeliner and start studying up on the roots, or go the fuck on with whatever trendy ass, lame scene your trying to be a part of. We're not trying to be teen idols, we're just makin music that will take you away from your boring 9-5'er. Now while all this may seem like we have a closed mind when it comes to music that is all too false. What we're trying to say is, we think music should have some heart and pride...shit that stands the test of time.

The Speed Kings have had the honor of sharing the stage with many great bands such as...U.S. Bombs, Far From Finished, The Briggs, Fu Manchu, Legendary Shack Shakers, Murphys Law, The Queers, Lucero, The Hard Ons, Rat City Riot, Whole Wheat Bread, and the Dexter Romweber Duo...just to name a few.
"A bristling example of music crashing between the waves of the past and the present, putting a stab in the future." Avenue Magazine

"The Speed Kings don't mess around as they tear down rock n roll to the bare essentials-loud, hard, and fast." Limelight Magazine

"The Speed Kings shout a rebel yell..." www.truepunk.com

"they bring authenticity to their music through punishing vocal ferocity, straight-forward, over-driven guitar riffs and a general apathy for public opinion." Encore Magazine
