About Me

I wrote my first complete album in 2001 on the heels of a breakup and have been sporadically retching them out into a recorder ever since. That first volley of recordings included the smash hit singles There's an Urban Outfitters in my Country Town and You (Are So Full of Shit Your Eyes are Brown). All my friends got together and helped me record those out at Farm Fresh; 29 players and singers in all. The recording of Urban Outfitters is, in fact, the first time I had ever played with a band, and luckily we happened to be in the studio to capture the magic. The other tracks were recorded at Dudeland Studios with members of Hamfist! and Charlemagne.I still play gigs with my band The Bourbonic Plague sporadically, and am still writing and recording off and on as i feel the need and the inspiration.
