Hailing out of Hickory, North Carolina, surrounded by plenty of meaningless music, Suck It Up formed in late July of 2007 in the demise of another local band that held many members of the band at one point or another. The band was organized with Wes on drums, Brent on vocals, Nigel on guitar, and Luke on bass. In August of the same year they picked up their second guitarist and began writing new material and rewriting some older stuff and taking the band in a new direction
The five have plans to start recording very soon (if not in the next week).
After quickly putting some songs together they have begun booking shows starting in late september and are looking to taking North Carolina's hardcore scene by storm, followed by the world's.
Full of sing-a-longs and breakdowns there is something for everyone. Come check out your hometown boys who are making a big noise in your little city.
