Crushing Hardcore with some Metal and Death Metal overtones, especially on the vocals, but mainly influenced by 90's hardcore such as Earth Crisis, All Out War, Merauder, Integrity, Another Victim, The Path Of Resistance and other quality bands in that vein, but in a lesser degree.
Formed in October of 2001, disbanded on September of 2007. The band released 2 demos (one being released on the day of their first show, thus establishing a standard of hard work ethics that many locals would thereafter find inspiring). The self titled first demo immediately caused an impact on the local and national scene on a word-of-mouth level. The cover featured a photo of Michael Douglas' character "D-fens" from the movie "Falling Down", as a way to express the feeling of being fed up with the world and the problematics of the scene at that point in time. A few months later they would record their second demo entitled "Veritas Odium Parit" which continued the natural progression on the bands first material, featuring artwork from local influential artists and graphic designers such as Fonrouge and Marte God. A Year after that they released their first studio effort and full length, "Invictus Maneo" (or Self-Titled). The CD is well received within the underground music scene in Mexico by Hardcore, Metal and Punk fans as well as by Hardcore fans around the globe. Again featuring artwork by Fonrouge, the 14 track album is a solid and uncompromising statement of the band's unique brand of pummeling Hardcore and brash Metal fury, and does a fine job in portraying the band's musical growth, especially hallmarking the drum and vocal diversity and superiority from most of their contemporaries, as well as a new depth and skill in the riiffing and structure of the new songs. They are also featured in 3 complilations: "Hecho en Mexico" (National) "Monterrey Underground" (Local) and "El Cambio Empieza en Mi" (International). The band plays a few shows in different parts of Mexico and remain active playing often at local shows. A year after their full length is released, they go on a 3 week tour with fellow conspirators and brother band, Die Young TX. The tour goes from Texas, west-bound to Tijuana, Mexico and then north through California, Oregon and Washington, all the way to Vancouver Canada, and back through the Rocky Mountains. On the way they manage to play at one of west coast underground music's cradles: 924 Gilman St. The band receives a great response and continues to gain popularity within the Hardcore scene, solidifying themselves as one of the few Mexican HC bands known worldwide. They then do a mini-tour the following year in Mexico with brother band xPor La Verdadx. The band then goes through a hiatus and stop playing shows for 6 months and find that they cannot cohesively compose music that all members can agree upon. They play Die Young's CD release party for their Eulogy debut "Graven Images" in Houston, TX. After that another 6 months go by and they finally decide that due to musical differences and time constraints they must put the band to rest. They do a final 10 day tour through Mexico with long time friends Nunca Mas from Guadalajara, and they release the last song they wrote on an exclusive tour edition split with Nunca Mas. The tour does better than expected and both bands bond amazingly. They play their final show in their hometown Monterrey to an audience of friends and family in what turns out as the best show the band played. Throughout the time they were active, before and always, the band remains as 5 friends who firmly believe in the ethics of the Straight Edge movement.
