About Me

Hey! I've been that long tall bass player busting my head into the stageroof ...in a whole lotta bands since the mid 70's. Maybe you remember some of'em ... Sölve Möbacks, Revolver, Punk Anderson And The Cartel, Hazard, Männen Utan Fruktsoda, The Dead Don't Talk, Roadhouse, Mercenary Mustangs, Orange Disaster, Foamen, Four Man Bob, Si Der Ja, Enzendoh, JB Wiretag Band, Dispenz. Right now I'm involved with a bunch of good' ol' friends in a blues kind of a band called The Humbuggers. After the breakdown of countryrockers Enzendoh 2002 I quit music, disillutioned and mad, but only for about 6 months or so until Mr Nice Guy Janne Berglund (JB Wiretag Band) out of the blue called me up and asked me to play a few gigs with him, and that was so incredibly fun and the joy for playin' music hit me again, thank You Janne! And then after a little while I even started writing songs again which I haven't done since maybe a couple of tunes in the late 80's. I bought myself a little 8-track and started recording. In 2004 I recorded 5 songs under the name "Waylong And The Bunch" in Tommy Anderssons studio, together with a bunch of ol' friends of mine, the result was the demo "The Rain" and it was received really well and I became "artist of the month" in the local radio station, Radio Jamtland. Still I keep trying to write songs as much as time allows, inbetween family, work and sleep. Some songs for me, myself and I and some bluesier stuff that suits The Humbuggers better. The "home-recordings" are made 2005-2006 and the sound is not perfect, I'm still learning that darn machine and I ain't no Django Reinhardt on guitar, but no apologies, I think the tunes are pretty cool anyway. I'm gonna try to record some newer stuff very soon, like "Never Unloved You", "Are There Any More Real Friends", "Daughter Of A Preacher Man" and "Appreciate The Rain"...yes well there's lots'n'lots of new tunes knockin' on the studio door. I'm really achin' to get my act together enough to make some kind of an album with my own music... some time...soon. I just need one hell of a backing band ...
