Ballyhoo! has been touring the country in their pimp conversion van, spreading the music from coast to coast in support of their 2006 release "Do It For the Money!". Selling over 6,000 hard copies and more than 20,000 downloads through iTunes and various other digital stores worldwide, the band shows no signs of stopping.With a new record set for launch in early spring '08, the guys are planning to tour a lot more to support it. "We've been playing for so long, it'd be weird to stop now. 'Do It For the Money!' has really opened a lot doors for us and has spread like wildfire in the underground", says frontman Howi Spangler. The band looks forward to getting back on the road to rock the new songs for the core fans, "I can't wait for people to hear the new stuff", says Howi, "we've really taken what we've done in the past and built on top of it, adding more edge to the rock songs and more melody to the reggae.
