BEHOLD!! It was written "that that¹ which had lain dormant would rise again, heralding a time of great..." Unfortunately, the next bit of the ancient tablet was destroyed - so we know not what it actually heralded, but we do know that it heralded something. We also know, according to the tablet, that the time is nigh for that something², which had lain dormant, to rise again, phoenix-like, to herald...IT³. Perhaps IT will be cheese...or that tasty microwave kettle corn. Or IT might mean a thousand years of darkness and tyranny. Hard to say really.
Damn crumbly old tablets...
¹The ancient tablet actually says "that that" which always seemed like a clumsy and rather modern formation of words to me, so it's comforting to know that the ancients struggled with it as well. It also causes some to posit that the ancient tablet was part of a larger group of tablets, similar the "Oklahoma Cache" unearthed in 1984 of ancient slates depicting trickster god Kokopelli cavorting with four frantic dry humping musicians in the "dream time" in which past and future unite...but I digress.
²No Cause/No Cure have been described as 'Insane Carnival Music' (it was in the Pitch, so it must be true), mildly reminiscent of Mr. Bungle, Scatterbrain and Frank Zappa with a heavy edge. Their performance style is influenced by large amounts of Monty Python, Tenacious D, Frank Zappa, Mitch Hedberg, and Kevin Smith.
³I'm hoping for cheese.
