Club Wars is a battle of the bands tournament produced by Jim Kilroy . Club Wars has been held at nightclubs and venues in the Kansas City area and surrounding region since the Spring of 2002. In the Summer of 2005, Cover Wars became the first in a series of Club Wars "Spin-Offs." Other Club Wars "Spin-Offs" include: Country Wars , Metal Wars , Punk Wars , Pop Wars , Alternative Wars and Funk Wars .
