I value intelligence and individual thought, love, freedom (ironically, something our country has yet to come upon in its fair entirety), honour, honesty, creativity, passion and compassion, self-expression, individuality, being who you are, not being who someone else wants you to be, not being who someone else doesn't want you to be for the sole purpose of pissing them off, but truly knowing yourself, knowing your essence, realizing your potential, and most of all, staying true to yourself.

I am a paranoid, jealous, suspicious, untrusting person by nature, and thus quite secretive and very bad at opening up. Generally, the first few times that we speak, chances are you may think I'm opening up, but I'm really probably not. Even while reading this. Give it a while.

I have many passions including Irish culture, Middle Eastern/Moroccan culture, music of all sorts (especially punk [the real stuff, like Sex Pistols and Misfits, not your good charlotte bullshit], classic rock, metal, as long as it's creative, photography {sets my soul free}, watercolor {Layal haunts my heart}, cooking, geocaching {god I need a GPS...}, putting together outfits for customers at Hot Topic, deep discussions about life and love and fate and politics*, people watching. (*with certain people. Most people get quite irritated with me during debates and I have no clue why.)
Moulin Rouge makes me cry.
Boondock Saints makes me drink.
I push boundaries whenever possible, walk on razors, might psychoanalyze you for fun, and will challenge your imagination as much as I can.
I experience intense emotions, which I often have to stifle so people don't think I'm a freak.
I am constantly searching for a something I don't know that never seems to be there for a long time.
I would be nothing without my incredible, loving, supportive parents who are always there, even when I'm away in Baltimore.

All of my family and friends have nurtured me, stuck with me, supported me, and carried me through the rough times, and continue to do so. Without them, I would die.
