Recent News: Fred & I just got engaged! We're shooting for February 20, 2010. We're so excited!

I thrive when I'm involved in change and excitement. I think the world needs a jump start -- there's too much hate around all of us. And even if it means I have to start in my own small way, maybe it'll lead to something bigger. :)

I'm also a firm believer in the law of relativity. If you think about good things and have a positive perspective of everything, good things will come to you. If you have a negative perspective of things, bad things will inevitably come to you.

And as for my chess game:

I play chess to exercise and expand my mind. Win or lose, as long as I learn something from and enjoy the game, it's never a waste.

My Interests

Chess, reading, video games, friends, sleeping, drawing, writing, music, talking on the phone, dance dance revolution, debate, positive thinking, anime, running, manga, being supportive, sales, dancing

I'd like to meet:

People who are interested in being the best that they can possibly be. No one is perfect, but everyone should treat each other the way they'd like to be treated, or at least, they should try.

Music:

I listen to everything but country. Fred says I'm hypocritical because I like Shania Twain, though. :| Who DOESN'T like Shania? Sigh.

Movies:

I'm not much of a movies or television person...but I have watched Shanghai Noon, Minority Report, A Beautiful Mind, amongst a whole bunch of others that I can't recall. I did watch and love those three, though.

Television:

Law & Order, CSI, Frasier, Everybody Loves Raymond, Heroes, Batman: The Animated Series...whenever I can get to watching TV, that is [which is not often].

Books:

Most of Terry Brooks' old Shannara series, Dave Duncan's Gilded Chain series, Harry Potter, Jack Chalker, the Dragonlance series, the Death Gate Cycle, amongst a ton of others that I've read in the past.

Heroes:

My parents, most of all, even while they're a pain in the butt sometimes.
