Dialecs began as a five member tribe in Northern California, forming in Chico in 2002. The debut album dropped soon after that, entitled "Chapter One" in fall 2003. Chapter One was produced by Cojak and Gritty, featured the lyricists of the group Chance 1, Himp C, Tetrarue and Gritty with beats and cuts from underground artists in the surrounding areas. The album is available at Dialecs.com available by paypal only.
Dialecs has been rocking live hip hop live since 2002 with an array of performing acts that come through Northern California. Some include Andre Nickatina, Bone Thugs in Harmony, Six-Feet Deep, Hieroglyphix , Living Legends, Soul Rebelz, One Block Radius, Hooliganz, Trinity, KRS-ONE, Resonators, Empty Mynd, Dirt Merchants, Misolanius, Icon the Mic King, LifeSavas, SOS, Elemnop, Afterflow, Day One, Catalyst Crew, Earthtones, Bottom of tha Bassment, Con Artist Productions, Salvador Santana Band, Crank Jai, Gritsitory, Cochino, Pyrx, Top Shelf the Grits Band, and DJ's Enovate, Chin, Matt Loomis, and Gregory Heinz.
Dialecs' second album is currently in the works, though the group is not rushing through the project but rather taking time to make it right. With the lyrical presentation that Dialecs is known for, in addition to head-bangin' beats and cuts. Keep ya' heads up and ya eyes and ears open...
More recently members of the group have endeavored other projects including "Catacomb Twin" featuring Chance 1 and Tetrarue, and the soon to drop "Mofax" by HIMP C. This in addition to cameos and performances in the Western US. So, Keep ya' ears open and thanks for swingin through the page! Peace
