Band Members: The NWB Family Consists of some of the finest players in the U.S. The latest lineup includes: Nathan Whitt - Vocals, Acoustic Guitar and Keys / Chris Skrobot and Chris Lute - Guitar / Patrick Edwards - Bass / Aaron Apter - Drums *** Many other players have or will sit in depending on what part of the country we're in. Rob McNelley (who is on the road with Delbert McClinton and has his own incredible project www.RobMcNelley.com) and Mike Nugen (of McGuffey Lane fame and a central Ohio legend) have both contributed on guitar. Molly Pauken (of Sirens www.sirensmusic.com) and Jeff Ciampa (Vinyl, Hoodoo Soul, etc.) have tracked or set in on bass, and Seth Earnest (on the road with John Rubin), Tony McClung (Bobby Floyd, Hoodoo Soul, etc.), Trey Landry (Top 40 Artist) have all layed down tracks on drums. Not to mention Nathan's Chief's Tale days. A stellar band with Rob Fugate on guitar, Alex Lusht on guitar and bass, and Bill McCarthy (Katie Reider Band) on drums. NWB is truly a musical family that extends way beyond the road!
Influences: Little Feat, Trey Anastasio, Bonnie Raitt, Bruce Hornsby, Martin Sexton, Dave Matthews, Jerry Garcia, Bob Dylan, Sly and the Family Stone, Jaco Pastorius, The Beatles, John Hiatt, and many others.
Sounds Like: We think we have a truly original sound, but so does everyone else, right? We had a newspaper reporter call us "a funky pop / jam band, somewhere between Bruce Hornsby and Dave Matthews." We like that.
