At the Toronto Independent Music Awards at The Phoenix Concert Theatre, ASHRAF was named Toronto's best rhythm & blues artist. ASHRAF will perform at the Phoenix in October 2007 at next year's showcase of 2006 winners.
Born in Egypt and raised in Canada, ASHRAF has grown to become a prominent talent within the independent Canadian music community.
