I don't want to jump into any long-term contracts, business ventures, etc. until I'm confident that I know enough "not" to get screwed over. Elvis had a lifetime contract forcing him to fork over half of his earnings to his personal manager. His personal manager molded Elvis into an icon, having a very successful career, but not all people are so fortunate.
