Wud up... Its your boy Jonathan droppin a line to let you know how I do! Started this Music page to show you jus one of my many hobbies. I started playin piano at church when I was in highschool. I got into choir my junior year and started writing music to express myself ever since. Over sometime now I've put together a few tunes I thought would be cool to record. Some background on the songs on my page: Im doin all the vocals, lead and background. My boy Derek helped out on guitars. The rest is me on the keyboards using drum loops and layering over strings and bass.********** My cousin Mondo recorded "We feel Right" for me. The others were by a friend I had in high school, Josh. **********In "Back to Me" and "I'll Be Back," I'm playin guitar and piano and they was recorded in one take. **********In "Orange and Blue" Im playin piano, layered over with strings and dereks on guitars - it was done in an hour. ***** My latest song is "Missin Those Days". Its a duet I wrote and recorded with my cousin Natalie Esquivel, who's on my 8. **********So I recently added "What love Brings." That is actually the first song I ever recorded. Lots of imagery in that one if you listen to the lyrics. I get inspiration from relationships I'm in or have had. ********** "Sent to Me" is the only christian song I have recorded but I plan to do more. It was recorded my senior year in highschool and performed during the Christmas concert. I arranged it for the men's choir at John Jay H.S. by putting together the harmonies and parts, lyrics and music. I'm playing piano in the recording and singing. Got a few awards for that one so wanted to share that moment with you. All the songs are originals written and sung by yours trully. Hope you enjoy my music. More to come. Peace.
