My main passion in life is music (I perform mainly opera and other "classical" genres)...I can't find anything I love more than performing and communicating (sometimes very powerful) messages on the stage. Aside from my musical life, I enjoy reading, collecting all types of plants, hanging out with my friends, and doing mostly anything outdoorsy (hiking, swimming, camping, etc.). Anything that gets me out of the monotony of my everyday life (sitting in a drab building all day) is welcome! One more of my favorite pastimes is traveling...road trips or to new countries...I love to go places and explore!!!

Music:
I like a lot of things. I've been listening to Imogen Heap, Joanna Newsom, the Dresden Dolls, Regina Spector, and tons of opera lately. I think my favorite band of all time though would have to be Guns n' Roses though. I tend to go through musical phases every so often...There is always a fateful return to the Cranberries for I shall always love them...and old rock!

Movies:
I love Les Choristes, Fried Green Tomatoes, both of the Kill Bill vols., and most scary movies (I haven't found many that actually scare me though).
Television:
I don't really have much time for television, but when I do watch the discovery health channel (until I end up turning into a hypochondriac!), sometimes MTV, and some reality shows...I'm a big sucker for the discovery channels though...I know...I'm nerdy too...
Books:
I love books, so trying to think of a favorite is impossible. I really like gothic fiction books. A few other favorites of mine are Sylvia Plath, Patricia Cornwell, and V.C. Andrews.
Heroes:
My hero would probably have to be anyone who is happy and successful in life. (happy being the key element.) My other heros are my parents and my incredible friends who are always there for me in my times of need!
