About Me

I was raised an Army brat, bouncing around the world since I was knee high to a grasshopper. I'm now living in Las Vegas, NV. I recently moved from Boulder, Colorado. I was enjoying the 300 plus days of sunshine and the outdoor living that comes with it, now I'm melting in the heat and losing my soul with all the sordid debauchary around me (yeah, I'm luvin' it). I'm still in school. Did my bit for Mother and Country in the Army (intel) and am now contemplating the meaning of life. Ok, I'm lying, I'm not contemplating shit...I'm just trying to time my work schedule so it doesn't interfere with the important things in life; such as: Snowboarding, biking, hiking, beers, booty, and Steelers football. Every now and then I like to go for an occaisonal waxing as well. See there's this one patch of hair that grows on my back. I'm not sure when it started growing. I tell people it's an old football injury and then one day hair started growing out of it, but then...

My Interests

Outdoor activities. Hiking, Mtn. Biking, Snowboarding, Team sports, reading, travel, dining out, cooking, shakin' dat ass, music, beaches, oceans, impulsiveness and compulsiveness, people that are tough, people that have integrity, flirting, overcoming the odds, learning about art, learning something new, living life as it should be lived. I used to like having my every whim catered to, but then Mom told me I had to do my own laundry.

Music:

Variety. I listen to music based on what mood I'm in. Have you ever met a half Korean, half Irish person? Lots of moods.

Movies:

This is an ever evolving list. I will say this though, I've given up any movies involving latex and barnyard animals

Television:

I only get TV during football season but if I had it, I'm sure the Spanish Channel and Showtime After Dark would come into play

Books:

Where The Wild Things Are, Where the Red Fern Grows, Beverly Cleary, Roald Dahl, Anything by Tom Clancy, Anything by Jeff Shaara, Anything by James Michener, the Bible, the Celestine Prophecy, The Hagakure (book of the Samurai), the Ranger Handbook, 1984, Calvin and Hobbes Treasury. Currently I'm reading Kafka By The Shore and Crazy Horse-A Lakota Life

Heroes:

CSM Franklin (deceased) SFC Tim Guden, CPT Sean Sims (deceased), CPL Pat Tillman (deceased), Nathaniel Greene, Col. Joshua Chamberlain, General Thomas Stonewall Jackson, Col. St. Clair Mulholland, The Warrior Breed: Crazy Horse, Geronimo, Musashi Miyamoto, My biggest heroes: My Grandmother, My Father, and My God...oh yeah, and Weasner-you're definitely my hero! I like the way Troy Polamalu plays football, but I don't idolize atheletes...jeez did I spell that right? That doesn't look right. AAATHLEEETZ, damn that hooked on fonics, what a rip-off! Craig Kelly was a pioneer-warrior in backcountry boarding who tragically left us before his time. He died in an avalanche in the Canadian Rockies doing what he loved best.
