About Me

Hi, my name is Cornelis, and I am a Certified Flight Instructor in the Los Angeles area. I am originally from South Africa, and moved to the United States in 1996. I joined the U.S. Air Force out of high school and have been flying airplanes since 2001. I started at an Aero Club in Cannon AFB, N.M. I was hooked and wanted to make flying airplanes my career. After my 4 year enlistment, I finished all my pilot certificates through American Flyers at Santa Monica Airport and have been instructing since 2004. I am currently an instructor in the busy Southern California Airspace.
