Hi I am Ronald Kaplan and my journey in this unique industry of film & video has taken me from no budget features to low to eventually a seven figure film. They have been in all genres from love to mystery and shot on 16mm, 35mm and of course video too. The positions and titles have been associate producer, executive producer, producer, line producer, production coordinator,unit production manager, production consultant, consulting producer, advisor, producers assistant and always an enthusiastic cheerleader for success. Involved in negotiating contracts, deal making, financial strategies, personnel recruitment, scheduling, record keeping and dealing with all the bureaucracy so one of my proudest achievements was the word red tape was just that, only a word. Using my communication skills and positive motivational abilities so we could achieve fantastic results under budget and within the deadlines while also realizing a creative success as a team. Produced are own projects from script conception to worldwide distribution of films and also raised finances for these projects. By utilization of my business and creative knowledge of locations, casting, catering, hiring of crew, marketing, equipment and supply rentals was able to create a project with innovative ideas, plans & strategies to have a winning and amazing outcome both on and off the screen. Also I am proud due to my classroom teaching in Broward county schools to have been selected to be a studio teacher for videos, commercials, TV and theatrical motion pictures for clients such as MTV, McDonalds, Kennar and Tyko toys, The Jamie Kennedy Experiment, BBC, Fairgame, Shrek III and Badboys II plus many more. Also as a Lic. FL Real Estate agent my knowledge of locations has been upgraded and has my ability to deal with numbers, contracts and clients budgets as well.
